Welcome to our stress-free art courses, where you can immerse yourself in a day of learning the fundamentals of drawing in a relaxed and supportive environment. Led by experienced artist Kim Lane and occasional guest teachers, our courses cater to beginners and improvers alike.

Throughout the course, you'll delve into the basics of drawing, from mark making to mastering perspective, light, and shade. There's no pressure here; our aim is to show you that anyone can draw with the right guidance and encouragement. We'll explore a variety of subjects, including still life and even drawing each other, fostering creativity and camaraderie along the way.

Each course has its own unique theme, ensuring a fresh and engaging experience every time you join us. Our courses run from Saturday morning to Sunday afternoon, providing ample time to dive deep into your artistic journey.

For those seeking accommodation, we offer the option to stay at Lodge Cottage, a charming green oak cottage with breathtaking sea views from some rooms. The cottage accommodates six guests in three double rooms, offering a cozy retreat during your art-filled weekend. Plus, during the summer months, guests can enjoy access to our outdoor swimming pool, perfect for a refreshing dip amidst the beauty of the Lake District. Please note that there is no lifeguard on duty.

Located in the picturesque Lake District, our courses are held at Prospect House in Greenodd, near Ulverston. If you require accommodation, Prospect House offers three double rooms for your comfort and convenience.
